Post Event Coverage: Hellotittie’s 3rd Annual Creative Chicks Art Event

Last Saturday we were invited to mingle and celebrate artist in Brooklyn via Hellotittie. The brand focuses on bringing together women artist of all walks and are celebrating their third year in art curation. Additionally to the art gallery, they invited women artist to showcase their music and poetic talents. There was even a mural where guests had the opportunity to put their own artist talents at play. We got treated to a freestyle dance performance by body empowerment dancer and model Flora Dizon. Check out the featured artworks below:

We spoke with Arielle Wilkins and asked her a few questions about what inspires her work. “I’m really fascinated by different hair textures. I think it is important that everyone feels like their style is represented in art in some way.” She also said that doing events are a great way for her to meet and appreciate other forms of art. Check out some of the event photos below:

The event closed out with a performance by Shenna Somsmieh who has toured in both North America and Europe. She released her first album in October 2016 and has since been making waves across Spotify, MTV, and Billboard. Check out her music on Youtube here:

It was a positive evening being surrounded by women artist and the people that support them. In the current social climate it is more and more important for Creative Chicks to put their mark on our World through art in multiple mediums. We honestly can’t wait to see what Hellotittie comes up with next year.
