The iconic actor whose father to comedian Ben Stiller, passed away today from natural causes. His son Ben, broke the news. The comedic family also included Anne Stiller, who died some years before.
Seinfeld is arguably the best tv show ever created and his character specifically is responsible for that nod as well.

He played a similar character after Seinfeld ended on The King of Queens, Arthur, across actor Kevin James and actress Leah Remini. Stiller portrayed Remini’s character Carrie’s father and clashed with her not-so-witty husband Doug throughout the show.
