William Bryan, the man who recorded Ahmaud Arbery’s death, was arrested in Georgia on Thursday. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations, Bryan was charged with felony murder. Bryan is now the 3rd person arrested for connections to Arbery’s death, with both Travis and Gregory McMichael being arrested about a week ago.
Even though Arbery’s life is irreplaceable, Arbery’s family was pleased with the news of Bryan’s arrest. To quote a statement made by their lawyers, “The family of Ahmaud Arbery was relieved to learn that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has taken William ‘Roddie’ Bryan into custody”. It appears as if justice will be rightfully served in the case of Ahmaud Arbery.
