In order for businesses to stay afloat, seems like the only option is to open
According to the counties’ health departments, the state of California retail stores are allowed to open back up as long as the correct safety precautions are taken.
Although curbside pickup has been into play for the past two weeks, the California Department of Public Health stated that stores will be fully open. “Los Angeles has not yet announced whether it will approve retail stores to resume operations.” Said the Hollywood Reporter.
Stores that will reopen must abide by the states’ “guidance for retailers protocols.” Stores must do everything such as; providing temperature and symptom checks for employees as well as constantly disinfecting surfaces and practicing safe distances.
“Together, our actions have helped bend the curve and reduce infections in our state. As sectors continue to open with changes that aim to lower risk, remember that COVID-19 is still present in our communities,” Dr. Sonia Angell, the state’s public health officer and director of the California Department of Public Health, said in a statement. “As more of us may be leaving our homes, keeping physical distance, wearing face coverings in public, and washing your hands frequently are more important than ever to help protect yourself and those around you.”
The state also included that “places of worship can reopen at 25% capacity, or up to 100 attendees, with modifications to prevent the pandemics spread.”
The Hollywood Reporter states that the state of “California has had 94,558 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 3,795 death.” Every one should continue to take precautions during this time, and try to remain at a safe distance from others, regardless if someone doesn’t seem sick…it doesn’t mean they aren’t.

Welcome to he new normal although there are some people who act as if we have no pandemic going on what so ever and not taking precautions. Kudos for the people doing the safety measures.
