She is no stranger to bring consciousness to her own heritage and owning it in all the best ways we can think of. She wrote Brown Skin Girl, which features her first daughter, Blue Ivy. It is a letter to not just her black baby, but to all the other Black babies around the World. Now, she’s back with something for her son, a young king.
