The Washington Post is supposed to be releasing a expose’ today on the Washington Redskins, and everyone is speculating. Washington recently fired both Alex Santos and Richard Mann, both of the Pro Scouting administration team. Larry Michael, who was “the Voice of the Redskins” for 16 years, suddenly announced his retirement, and Daniel Snyder minority partners in ownership of the team are all reportedly looking for a way out. The team hired a lawyer to review the organizations protocols, which could mean anything from racism, drug issues, to sexual misconduct.

So what gives? Why all the mystery and drama? It seems that once again Redskins Park wants people to be held hostage for a while and contemplate their own notions of what is going on. I have my own views on this and it is not pretty. I remember hearing things regarding cheerleader escorting, sexual favors and Epstein. I cannot help but correlate the timeliness of all this with the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, who has agreed to “name names.”If Daniel Snyder is on this list, I can imagine why his minority owners are bailing.

Is it just coincidence that Jeff Bezos, who owns the Washington Post, who would love to own a NFL team, happens to be breaking this toxic news about the Redskins? It could be the biggest coup in history.

At any rate we will have to wait, with bated breath, to see how this all plays out. I for one will be interested to prove or disprove my hypothesis. Look, I do not wish ill on anyone, but I have not been a fan of Snyder. I believe he is more about profits versus team. Along with a new name, perhaps a total fresh start is needed to rebuild this team from the top up.
