Latin Ska Band Matamoska Announce Free Livestream Concert

If you want an excuse to dance around your living room and have a fun night in, Matamoska has the perfect solution! The Los Angeles-based band will be hosting a free livestream concert on Saturday, May 22nd. Presented by My Grito, Suavecito, and Blaze Mota, the performance will take place at Takeover Live and stream on both YouTube and Facebook.

Matamoska is a seven-piece group that blends elements of ska, punk, Latin, and reggae into a unique sound you won’t forget. Having been together for over 20 years, there’s an undeniable camaraderie between the members – the band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Jose Padilla, drummer Richard Sanchez, bassist Hector Rivera, keyboardist and backup vocalist Esteban Flores, and a three-member horn section that includes Jovan Loera, Ivan Lopez, and Robert Verdugo.

Be sure to check out the show’s landing page for more information on how to watch! It will take place on May 22nd at 8pm Pacific. In the meantime, you can connect with Matamoska on Facebook and Instagram.
