WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE?

As I lay here in my bed, I ponder the purpose of my life and where it is headed.

Does God have a plan for me? What is my purpose? All these questions flow through my mind. Will I accomplish whatever God has bestowed upon me to accomplish in life?

Is it foolish to think I am so important to even have a purpose or a path in life that God has set out for me?

Is there a purpose in life, or are we all just floating in the wind and just a happen chance?

Then I remember what my father told me, and it all starts to make a little more sense.

We are spiritual beings trapped in a physical world. Basically, we are spiritual beings on vacation.

The meaning of life is life.

To live, with an innate ability to make our own decisions to create our own lives, to have the freedom to choose how we live to a certain degree is the meaning of life.

God gave us free will so we could make our own minds up.

Sitting around waiting for our purpose to be shown to us, is a waste of time. We would completely miss the entire point.

The purpose, and the meaning of life, is to live.

  1. Hello from the UK.

Spot on. Jesus says ‘I have come that you may have life and live it to the full’.

    Kind regards

Please excuse the nom-de-plume, this is as much for fun as a riddle for people to solve if they wish.
