Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Rob Portman (Ohio) whose has an openly gay son, and Thom Tillis (N.C.), and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) were the ones who wanted the bill to pass.
