#WORLDCENTRALKITCHEN World Central Kitchen is devastated to confirm seven members of our team have been killed in an IDF strike in Gaza. The WCK team was traveling in a deconflicted zone in two armored cars branded with the WCK logo and a soft skin vehicle. Despite coordinating movements with the IDF, the convoy was hit as it was leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse, where the team had unloaded more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid brought to Gaza on the maritime route. “This is not only an attack against WCK, this is an attack on humanitarian organizations showing up in the most dire of situations where food is being used as a weapon of war. This is unforgivable,” said World Central Kitchen CEO Erin Gore. The seven killed are from Australia, Poland, United Kingdom, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, and Palestine.

@tahyira responds for @theredeyemediagroup “How is this not a clear attack against the United States and our work for humanitarian aid into the GAZA? Ripley-Grier, a local studio in midtown is a major partner with the World Central Kitchen. We use Ripley a lot for our productions. How are Americans supposed to go about their everyday lives and ignore our ally-ship to the IDF? An American was killed. Is Israel going to apologize to the United States? Is that how we deal with terror now? Saying whoops my mistake we thought it was a legit target? Didn’t Hitler get away with these same kinds of murders before our country felt the need to bomb Japan, back in the 1940s?
