Is there anything quite like the rush of discovering a new song or artist you can’t get enough of? We think not, and that’s exactly why we at TREMG love spotlighting rising and underappreciated talent to give creators at every level the recognition they deserve. So many artists spent July offering fans new treats, releasing some of the best work of their career, and opening up in their lyrics like never before. Here are some of our favorite new releases from this month!
BINI – “Cherry on Top”
Your playlist could use a good summer refresh, and adding BINI’s latest single would be the cherry on top! “Cherry on Top” is a bubbly English track by the Filipino group that will inspire you to be more confident in yourself, balancing equal parts playful and fierce. Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena are ready to become the next global It Girls, and they just became the first P-Pop group to perform at KCON in Los Angeles. The fact that they’re currently the second-biggest artist in the Philippines behind only Taylor Swift speaks volumes about their irresistible appeal and charm! Get to know BINI on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and their website ASAP so you can say you knew them before they were a household name.
Dasha – “Didn’t I”
Throughout our lives, a lot of us will run into and away from that person we just can’t escape… but not all of us can write a ridiculously catchy pop-country earworm about it. Dasha tells her own story of the-one-that-got-away-then-came-back-but-should’ve-maybe-gotten-away on “Didn’t I,” a cheeky blending of the past and present that excellently captures what it feels like to be in that weird in-between phase with an ex. And no, you probably shouldn’t call the person you think of when you hear it once you’re done listening, but at least you have the perfect song to help you through it if you do. If you didn’t connect with Dasha on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter yet, make sure to!
‘Didn’t I’ is so nostalgic, there’s something about my past that intrigues me, including the men. In the writer’s room, I was referring to a time months and months ago when I was backsliding into the guy that ‘Austin’ is about. It’s admitting like, ‘oops here I am again, my bad,’ but I love how we made it lighthearted and fun.

elijah woods – “2 thousand 10”
Nothing hits quite like childhood summers, and elijah woods channels that nostalgia in a stunning way on the sun-soaked “2 thousand 10.” This alt-pop jam will take you back to days of sitting on your best friend’s trampoline, chasing down the neighborhood ice cream truck, and trading rubber brand bracelets while also encouraging you to make the most of every moment you can now, since you don’t know what you’ll miss in a decade. With cosigns from the likes of Niall Horan, elijah is certainly one name you don’t want to miss on today’s pop scene! Check out more of his work on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and his website.
The song’s energetic undertone gives it pace and relatability to anyone who has ever wanted to relive their best childhood memories. We had so much fun writing this song and I think that feeling is reflected in the final version.

Joe Jonas – “Work It Out”
We’ve always loved the Jonas Brothers (who actually have a song of the same name), but it’s been far too long since we’ve gotten a true solo single from Joe Jonas! Though we must admit that “Work It Out” was totally worth the 10+ years wait, showing us an introspective, mature side of Joe as he tackles various anxious thoughts and negative feelings. The song opens with a melancholy guitar line before the energy picks up and Joe decides to fight back against the wave of fear and sadness that threatens to wash over him. We’re calling it now, the “even baddies get saddies” lyric will be one of the most-used Instagram captions this summer. Work your way over to Joe’s Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and website for more, and keep an eye out for his Music For People Who Believe In Love album this October!
‘Work It Out’ is a personal anthem for when I have intrusive or ruminating thoughts; to help break their spell and bring me back to living in the present. It’s only human to experience uncomfortable feelings; no one is 100% happy all the time. This is a song about getting out of your head and back to the person you really are.

Kesha – “JOYRIDE”
The queen of glitzy pop is officially back as an independent artist! “JOYRIDE” is an exhilarating return to form, calling back to the electropop cadence of anthems like “TiK ToK” and “Blow” while also incorporating the quirky whimsy we’ve seen on tracks like “Potato Song (Cuz I Want To).” It’s a sparkly, flirty celebration of everything that has made Kesha, Kesha throughout the years and you’ll definitely want to hop in for the ride. She’s more confident than ever, ready to take on the world and get back to the chart domination we’ve missed from her. Kesha, freedom looks so good on you! Make sure you keep up with her on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and her website.
