When I looked at Pantone’s Spring/Summer Fashion palette I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to find pieces in some of these colors. Seriously, I can’t get that classic blue quite right. Either it’s too royal or too navy (pretend you don’t notice).
Since there are twelve colors in the palette, I will give you some clothing ideas 4 colors at a time so the page doesn’t look like Froot Loops in the blender.

Saffron is a cross between orange and yellow. It is also a very expensive spice ( good thing you don’t need much to season a chicken).
Maybe if flame scarlet is too hot for your taste, a little saffron will spice things up ( collective groan).

Our third color for the summer is the lovely, yet complicated classic blue. All I know is I love just about any shade of blue. Here are are some pieces you may like.

Our final color for the day is called Biscay green. I just looked it up and Biscay is a province of Spain which lies on a bay with the same name. The color does remind me of cool, clear water. A good color for a hot summer day.
