Wake Up Your Summer Wardrobe With These Fun Colors. Part Three

As warned promised, I’m back to share with you the last four colors of Pantone’s Summer 2020 fashion colors palette. You can add the colors in little bits with a scarf or jewelry, or go for a gorgeous dress or jumpsuit ( I am crushing on jumpsuits this summer).

Our first color, sunlight, is a soft lemony yellow. It is so very pretty. I myself can not wear any shade of yellow, but the workaround is to throw in another color I can wear. For example a blue patterned scarf with a yellow dress or a white cardigan over a jumpsuit. Below are a few items you may like. How cute is that cat tote?

Next up to bat is a lovely color called coral pink. It’s a nice little pink with a touch of orange in it. This color was a little harder to hunt down but take a look at some of the products I found. I love the romper.

The third “ color of the summer” puzzled me a bit at first. When you hear cinnamon stick do you think of a nice mug of mulled cider while sitting by the pool? And I also must say every cinnamon stick I have seen is pretty much brown. Perhaps they are referring to cinnamon gum? I wrote that as a joke, but am now wondering….

Think rust or terra cotta for colors similar to Big Red , I mean cinnamon stick. Ok ,even though I am picking on the name, I do like the color. It’s a refreshing change from all of the pastels and gives a nice Bohemian vibe. See if you agree with me.

And our fourth and final color is called grape compote. Let me get on my soapbox about this name. A compote is a desert of fruit cooked in sugar. It would be like eating grape jelly for dessert, which by the way, should be it’s name. Oh I am snarky today. See what you think of these purple preserves picks.

And that’s it for our 12 colors of summer, kind of like 12 days of Christmas, but no gifts. We should change that.

I have one last surprise for you. How would you feel about wearing all 12 colors together? Because I actually found these dresses which I’m pretty darn sure have all the colors. If anyone disputes, I can add an accessory. I actually like these dresses. What do you think?
