Something cool and heartwarming just happened. Two year old Alexis Olympia Ohanian is a part owner of a woman’s soccer team in L.A. She is the daughter of Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian. It is a family affair. Alexis Ohanian helped fundraise for the team and Serena William is one of the owners.
The woman’s soccer team has not officially been named yet, but it goes by the name Angel City. It was founded with the intent of showcasing powerful women in the sports industry. The owners are big names in various industries. You probably heard their names before. The owners include Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria, Serena Williams, etc.
My favorite part of this story is that the cute Williams-Ohanian family is already laying the groundwork for their daughter’s future. This will hopefully lead to a domino effect of Alexis being powerful herself.
