After months of silence, months of being attacked, ridiculed, and Cancelled, Tory Lanez has finally told his side of the story. For people that may not now, back in July, Megan Thee Stallion was shot in both her feet. It happened during an argument inside a suburban occupied by Tory Lanez and Megan’s best friend Kesley Nicole, and Megan herself.
Not much information was released, at first other than that the trio was attending one of Kylie Jenner’s parties. Things went left when Megan became infuriated with Tory Lanez as he was flirting with Kylie Jenner during the party. Kylie kicked the couple out of the party because they started arguing and causing a disturbance. Soon after, news broke that Megan got shot in both her feet, but nobody named the shooter nor gave information about the incident. Many fans were confused until Megan came clean about what happened on Instagram live an accused Tory Lanez of shooting her.
Tory Lanez remained silent until recently when he released his project, DayStar ( which he received backlash for.) Where he denied all accusations against him. But Tory wasn’t done there today, Tory decided to go live on Instagram and debunk/ tell his side of the story. “I don’t ever wanna come off like I’m here to bash this girl or I’m here to talk down about this girl or ever be at a place where, like, I’m disrespecting her, because to me, as a person, she’s still my friend,” He said. “No matter what; even if she doesn’t look at me like that – I look at her like she’s still my friend.’ ‘I don’t ever wanna come off like I’m here to bash this girl or I’m here to talk down about this girl or ever be at a place where, like, I’m disrespecting her, because to me, as a person, she’s still my friend,’ he said. ‘No matter what; even if she doesn’t look at me like that – I look at her like she’s still my friend.”
Tory also speaks on what he’s been personal experiencing the last few months, “For the last three months of my life, I’ve been in this place where I’ve been bashed, I’ve been cut through’ he said. ‘Just people every single day just coming at me, coming at me, coming at me.” Tory also talked about his love for black women and the reason why he released his project the day of the trial for in regards to the Breonna Taylor murder case. Tory never confirmed nor denied he shot Megan or even said who the shooter was. Tory Lanez was arrested and charged with one felony count of assault with a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered Firearm in a vehicle. If he is Convicted, of these charges, he faces 23 years in prison.
