“It’s not too late for them to do the right thing,” she tweeted. “Lincoln Project should take the L and publicly pledge to give a lot of their fundraising to the people who actually made a big difference.” AOC has been mouthing-off like the Bronx native that she is. We love it. But we monitor it. She is the leading progressive by face in our political-sphere so she’s been calling out everyone since she showed up at the DNC for Bernie Sanders. She is Puerto Rican. Not Black.
Then we have Eva Longoria.
“The women of color showed up in big ways. Of course, you saw in Georgia what Black women have done but Latina women are the real heroines here,”
In fairness she wasn’t being cheeky, she was speaking from what she sees. “I can see that this sounds like I’m comparing Latinas to Black women, which I would never do,” Longoria wrote on social media. ” Black women deserve a standing ovation for the work they have done year after year!! … Again, so sorry.”
It’s fine Eva, Black people love to clapback, it’s in their Twitter nature. What does it all mean for bringing us all together?
