Ahead of his highly-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance this Sunday, The Weeknd invites fans to look back on his career with THE HIGHLIGHTS, his first greatest hits album that’s the perfect retrospective of his accomplishments so far.
The compilation includes 18 of Abel Tesfaye’s biggest hits to date, including collaborations with Daft Punk, Kendrick Lamar, and Ariana Grande. Standout tracks include “Wicked Games,” an early fan favorite from his debut House of Balloons mixtape, and “Blinding Lights,” his most popular song to date that became the longest-reigning #1 single on radio airplay charts, dethroning “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls.

Listening to THE HIGHLIGHTS is the perfect way to get yourself ready for Tesfaye’s Super Bowl Halftime Show appearance – Jesse Collins, the SB executive producer, told Entertainment Tonight that it’ll be a performance to remember, sharing, “We’re gonna use the stadium to present the show in a way that it’s never been presented before. Instead of focusing on what we can’t do [because of COVID-19], it’s like, look at what the opportunities are because of the cards we’ve been dealt.”
What songs are you hoping he’ll perform? Are there any deep cuts you wish he added to THE HIGHLIGHTS?
