Breaking Glass Pictures is proud to announce the upcoming release of the horror-thriller, Amber’s Descent! After surviving a violent encounter, renowned pianist, Amber Waltz relocates to a rural farmhouse to complete her latest symphony. When the music mysteriously begins writing itself, Amber slowly discovers that this piece could be her last. 
Synopsis: Kayla Stanton stars as Amber Waltz, a gifted pianist with a disturbing past who retreats to an isolated country house with hopes of completing her latest symphony. There she meets Jim (Michael Mitton), a handyman she hires who takes an unusual interest in helping her look after the house. As her work progresses, Amber starts to hear strange noises – humming and whispers beckoning her – leading her to believe the house is haunted. A ghostly figure appears at her piano and Amber decides to dig deeper into the history of the house and its previous occupants. When notes appear to write themselves on the pages of her music sheets, Amber finds herself surrounded by the dark mysteries of the house. She uncovers a deadly secret and begins her descent– the unraveling of her own sanity.

A veteran of the Canadian indie scene, Michael Bafaro has been directing, writing, and producing movies for more than two decades. With a lifelong passion for films that began when his father insisted on taking him to see the re-release of “Lawrence of Arabia”, Michael lives and breathes to tell stories. Trained in New York, he has stayed true to his independent roots by pursuing projects that he believes are important and need to be made. His award-winning film “The Barber”, starring Malcolm McDowell sparked a streak of supernatural horror films that culminated in his 2020 woman in peril film, 
“Amber’s Descent”. Based in Vancouver, BC, Michael is a founder of Absolute-Independence and Supersonic Pictures.
