Joe Piotrowski offers a sunny song for summer with “Good Morning,” a feel-good pop track about staying positive no matter what comes your way. Perfect for fans of acts like Conan Gray and Jon Bellion, the latter of whom he’s cited as an influence, Joe describes the song as “focusing on learning how to push through the day to day struggles with mental health and accepting the challenges that come along with it.”
“Good Morning” is the lead single and title track to Joe’s upcoming album, due later this summer. It’s the fourth full-length project he’s released since 2018, and while “Good Morning” bears some similarities to the light sound of his previous album, Cautionary, it sounds crisper and comes off as more optimistic, partly thanks to the background whistles and soft beat.
“‘Good Morning’ came from a place of needing to hear a song that hadn’t existed yet,” Joe shares. “It’s sonically the most exciting thing I’ve ever worked on and compared to my other work, it’s just lighter. I hope anyone who hears this song can just take a deep breath and let go for a second.”
