Once upon a time, most of us dreamed of being a princess. And while we have all watched from afar that being a part of the royal family isn’t all it’s chalked up to be, it doesn’t hurt to indulge in a few royal luxuries. One beloved royal perfume brand is Jo Malone London, and both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have vouched for the perfumer and its fragrances.
For her wedding to Prince William (now the Duke of Cambridge) Kate Middleton had Westminster Abbey adorned with the scents Grapefruit; Lime Basil & Mandarin; and Orange Blossom from the brand’s home candle collection.
As for Meghan Markle, the Duchess os Sussex, her go-to is the brand’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt, and Wild Bluebell.
Curiosity piqued, I went and tickled my fancy smelling the various scents. My favorites are now the Orange Blossom Body Creme and English Pear & Freesia Body & Hand Wash!
Jo Malone London can be found online, at most major department stores such as Neiman Marcus, or even Sephora! If you have sensitive skin where the spray, body oil, or body wash might cause irritation, go for the luxury home candles.
So while we may not have been born royal or married into a European Royal Family (no matter what our parents told us), we can always simply dab a little perfume on our pulse points, close our eyes, and drift off with dreams of castles above the clouds. But no evil step-families, please.
