The 2022 Billboard Women in Music Awards- Winners and more!

#BBWomenInMusic is trending on Twitter this morning and TREMG would like to show you why! A-list artists like Doja Cat, Ciara, Christina Aguilera, and H.E.R were all in attendance at the YouTube Theatre in Inglewood California, and gracing the red carpet with style! New heavy hitters like Summer Walker, Olivia Rodrigo, Saweetie and Karol G were also present and gracing the stage giving their fans what they always give… a great show!

Winners of the night included Olivia Rodrigo for “Woman of the Year”, Doja Cat “Powerhouse Award”, H.E.R “Impact Award”, Karol G “Rule Breaker Award” Saweetie” Game Changer Award”, Summer Walker “Chart Breaker” award and Phoebe Bridgers taking home the “Trailblazer Award”. With so many amazing ladies and talents in the building it wasn’t a shocker that most winners gave credit to their beautiful moms for being their support system. Holding a moment of silence for the people of Ukraine as well, the 2022 awards showed positivity, support, womanhood and strength amongst women in the music industry. We appreciate all their hard work and talents, and we are excited to see that they are being awarded! Check out the trailblazers of the night below.

CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi, who won The 2022 Billboard Women In Music “Executive of the Year Award” expressed her hope for the future of women in the music industry by stating…

“I encourage us all to continue to recruit, to mentor and cultivate the next generation of female leaders within our respective organizations so that one day, recognizing women in leadership roles will be the expectation and not a necessity.”

Agreeing with her message, we here at TREMG support all women with positive love, and thank you for reading!
