Neverness to Everness, otherwise known as NTE, is a supernatural hack and slash open world rpg from Hotta Studios. Hotta is Chinese company, a subsidiary of Perfect World, and developer of the game Tower of Fantasy.
Its story begins in the city of Hethereau where you play as the first ever unlicensed Anomaly Hunter. The world of NTE is one where anomalies are fought agaisnt as well as lived with peacefully. Anomaly Hunters are licensed ‘Espers’, people who have awoken to and merged with an inner anomalous power. This melding can lead to a physical change in the person such as animal features, horns, wings, and more. The protagonist Esper Zero joins the crew of struggling antique shop Eibon to help with their Anomaly Disposal side jobs.
Eibon’s colorful cast includes but is not limited to the gravity defying cat eared ichi-dame Nanally, the gluttonous part-Oni gourmet Sakiri, and the shop’s time bending boss Hotori.
NTE is a gacha in the same vein as Hoyoverse properties such as Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, however it does away with the pity and luck systems with the introduction of their dice and board system. Through this way the banner character is guaranteed each time, along with the availability of skins and character building materials. On top of that, upon release players will recieve 470+ free pulls, guaranteed character building materials, and free S-Rank characters Chiz of the Pink Paws Bank and Haniel of the Sterry Express.
NTE hosts a lively open world where you can get vehicles, a homes, work part time jobs, and avoid getting caught by the police with a Heat system akin to GTAV. You can even invite your favorite characters to hang out and eventually live with you!
The game is available for pre download and registration now on mobile, PS5, and PC and will be fully released to play on April 29 2026.
