Positionality is when one group is used to keep another group down, in this case Asian American business owners and Black communities. If you go to the chinese food store, you pay lets say $20 for a meal for 2-3 people. That money is then re-invested into the Asian business. What did the Black community gain in this transaction? Food is one of the main ways other races steal wealth from Black communities. Chain restaurants love using Black families in their ads and marketing. They never really invest anything back into the hood besides diabetes, overweightness, and unhealthy lifestyles. Think about it.
