70807 Teezy is coming in fierce straight out of the gate with her debut mixtape, PSA, which is a must-listen if you love vivid storytelling and immersive production that reels you right in. Teezy has already attracted a swarm of loyal fans who admire her confidence and thoughtfully-crafted verses, which each offer powerful, bold delivery and clever plays on words that you’ll be thinking about for days on end. “Like Amazon, b*tch, I deliver,” she promises on the booming title track, proving herself right on every last one of the mixtape’s nine songs.
“It’s heartwarming to see my fans reacting the way they are because it’s so much love and I love that for me,” 70807 Teezy tells TREMG.

When you press play on PSA, you’ll immediately understand why listeners already have so much love for 70807 Teezy. She’s said that she views rap as a love language for her to express herself, and it’s clear through each song that she’s dedicated to her craft and making sure her music stands out in the crowd. One of the most impactful tracks on the project is “Hard Truth,” an exploration of various situations in Teezy’s life that also insists, “never changing how I speak just for a record deal.” Her authenticity shines through more than ever as she reflects on her power, relationships, and path in life over a dynamic, guitar-driven instrumental. And now that she’s landed a record deal with the iconic Priority Records, who helped boost legends like Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, that authenticity will touch and inspire even more fans to live their own truth, no matter what that may look like.
“I had finished the song at first, then I rewrote the whole thing over because it was about one of my exes at the time,” Teezy shares. “So I ended up rewriting it about a lil bit about everything. And the part about my daddy is self-explanatory, I’m not gonna sit here and say he was a bad daddy because he wasn’t, it was just times I needed him growing up cause it’s certain stuff my mama couldn’t teach me.”
PSA signals a very promising future for 70807 Teezy in not only the rap game, but also the industry as a whole. She’s able to put her own spin on relatable stories and situations that anyone can connect with, blending elements of different genres and letting her work find its place in the lives of fans worldwide. Not only does she know who she is as an artist, but she knows who she is as a person and refuses to compromise any part of herself, which is the energy we all need in an ever-chaotic world that’s always trying to change us.
“Stay true to who you are and you can do whatever you put your mind to,” Teezy says. “Just keep going, don’t mind the haters.”

Hi Teezy, congrats on the release of PSA! What has it been like for you to drop the mixtape and see how your fans are reacting?
Hello, it’s heartwarming to see my fans reacting the way they are because it’s so much love and I love that for me.
How did you know that now was the right time to release your debut mixtape?
I let my team handle all of that, I just agreed.
There are so many clever lyrics on PSA, with one of our favorites being “don’t be that chicken with no head, ‘cause that’s the day you’re getting fried” from “Wha Chu Bang.” Are there certain lines from the mixtape that you’re especially proud of?
It’s no particular lyric that I’m proud of, I like everything that I write – if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have wrote it.
For anyone who isn’t familiar with your music already, which song on PSA would you recommend to them to get a feel for who you are as an artist?
“Hard Truth,” “PSA,” “Belt 2 Ass,” and “Wha Chu Bang.”
As we listened to PSA for the first time, one of the biggest things that stood out to us was your powerful delivery – you really hone in on the emotion behind your lyrics and take us on a journey with each song. How do you get in the right mindset before you record a track? What’s your creative process like?
I gotta be in the mood, like I’m going to the studio tonight, if I’m not feeling it I’m not gonna do anything. If I’m mad, I’m finna write about something that made me mad, it really just depends on my mood honestly.
One of our favorite songs on PSA is “Hard Truth,” which touches on things like your relationship with your dad and your dedication to staying true to who you are no matter what. Could you take us through the process and meaning behind that song?
I had finished the song at first, then I rewrote the whole thing over because it was about one of my exes at the time, so I ended up rewriting it about a lil bit about everything. And the part about my daddy is self-explanatory, I’m not gonna sit here and say he was a bad daddy because he wasn’t, it was just times I needed him growing up cause it’s certain stuff my mama couldn’t teach me.
What message do you hope listeners take away from PSA?
Stay true to who you are and you can do whatever you put your mind to. Just keep going, don’t mind the haters.
You’re the first woman from Baton Rouge to sign a deal with Priority Records (Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and more) and Capitol Music, which must be so incredible for you! How did you feel when you found out they wanted to work with you?
At first I was shocked, like damn, out of all people they wanna work with me. I couldn’t believe it so I was lost for words. That’s why it took me a minute to make a decision but I’m glad I did ’cause I don’t regret it!
You recently wrote on Instagram that there’s “just faith and a whole lotta ambition” behind your music and success so far, and we love that energy! We know 2024 will be a huge year for you – do you have any big dreams for the year? What can your fans look forward to in 2024?
Everything, the sky is the limit, this is my year for sure!
Is there anything else you’d like to mention or say to your fans that the questions didn’t touch on?
Shoutout to all my fans, I love y’all so much and want y’all to know the love is never unnoticed.
