The King of Staten Island‘ is an upcoming American comedy film directed by Judd Apatow(Trainwreck, Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) from a screenplay by Apatow, Pete Davidson, and Dave Sirus. The film stars Davidson, Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Bel Powley, Maude Apatow, and Steve Buscemi. Production is also done by Apatow, as well as Barry Mendel.
After breaking through with 2019’s ‘Big Time Adolescence‘, with his buddy Machine Gun Kelly, Pete comes to terms with growing up and becoming an adult after loosing his father during 9/11 in ‘The King of Staten Island‘. The 26 year old shows it’s okay to be different and talk about your problems, even if its to a little kid. The very well established comedian finally gets to tell his side of being a regular person while trying to cope with everyday problems and loss. Check out the trailer below.
