Kanye West Blames God for Sitting Him in The Front Row

During an interview on Nick Cannon’s podcast “Cannon’s Class“, the 43-year-old told Nick that Jesus led him to a lot of his decisions. As he rattled off his justifications on why his outlandish behavior is acceptable, he made it perfectly cringe-worthy. West went on to say “God told me to do it.” God has a calling on all o us and he uses us in different ways.”

“God told Me to do it.”

Kanye West on his justifications of his actions

I have come to be familiar with this aspect of people who use this type of argument. Usually to justify horrible actions and atrocities such as the Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades, Genocide and even racists use the ” God lead me to do this” or ” This was God’s Will” monologue to seem more palatable. And it is also after the fact, realizing that they have gone too far and the only thing that might save them is “blaming God for making them do it.”

Now, your asking which of the many incidents did he use that justification to hide under? Was it when he said ” George Bush doesn’t care about black people?” Was it when he stopped supporting Dondas House? (an out-reach program in Chicago that West funded (named after his mother) then abandoned.)

No, the infamous incident he used the “God made me do it” excuse was the Taylor Swift VMA Debacle. In 2009, Kanye West ran on stage while then 19-year-old Taylor Swift was accepting the award for best female video and ridiculed her on stage.

“Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

West says, ” If God aint want me to run onstage and say Beyonce had the best video, he wouldn’t have sat me in the front row.”

” I would’ve been sitting in the back and they would’ve made it the first award and he wouldn’t have made it so ridiculous.” At the time, West was drunk from drinking Hennessy straight from the bottle, seen by everyone from the Red Carpet walk to when he sat down.

In my opinion, I highly doubt he was speaking to God at that moment.

The latest statement comes on the heels of his presidential campgin fiasco. He has fraudulently written in signatures on petitions to get him on voting ballets. He turned in signatures late and most of them weren’t even filled out correctly. He is using enourmous amounts of money to essentially loose.

West is also diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder which he claims is his “super power.” If he were so ordained by God, wouldn’t it be more Jesus-like to help the less fortunate with the $50,000 he paid to get on the presidential ballot he knowingly is going to lose. How about the money he made off the Sunday Services, why not use those proceeds to open more mental health clinics or help pay for research studies into juvenile mental health issues. Maybe instead of wasting all his money on a “Fool’s Errand” he could be using it to rebuild outreach programs in Chicago, his hometown. He seems perfectly fine, using ” God” as conveniently as he uses stunts like these to promote album sales and streaming numbers.

Meanwhile, GOP operatives have been behind the scenes working for Kanye every step of the way. It seems like instead of practicing what’s in the bible he lobs at people during HIS Sunday Service, he’s more than comfortable with the far-right view of the bible in his aspect.
