Christmas Time Is Here

As we all know, this year has been one heck of a year for everyone all around the world. With everything going on, it has led everyone to be stressed out more, and their mental health decreasing.

It has been challenging and hard out there for many people, and it seems as though everyone’s moods are sour, including myself. The most beautiful time of the year has rolled around again, and I think this is the time to show some Christmas spirit.

Yes, it’s only the beginning of November, but who cares? Time has gone out the window along with everything else, so why don’t we celebrate Christmas way earlier this year?

This year’s Christmas should be bigger and better than ever and boost everyone’s mood up and being able to celebrate Christmas and being with your family alive and healthy.

Christmas is one of my favorite holiday’s and this year, I did have that thought of not celebrating it at all, and the attitude of ” Why should I celebrate when everything else has gone downhill?” “What makes you think that putting up a tree and lights will help the situation?”

That’s where I was going wrong; no matter what situation I was in as long as I got to decorate and sing Christmas songs, watch Christmas movies, and celebrate with my family, that’s all that matters.

Even though we are in the middle of a pandemic and meeting with family and friends may seem a little different, that doesn’t and won’t stop the Christmas cheer from going around, whether you’re on facetime or in person.

You don’t have to decorate crazy and have your whole house or apartment decorated from head to toe; a small, simple tree or some Christmas lights or small decorations will do. Seeing others in the Christmas spirit puts me more in the Christmas spirit, and it just makes the joy of it better.

Seeing the kids excited for it and others overall boost your mood, so why don’t we start now? I feel like we have gone through so much this year that we deserve to start this early celebrating Christmas. I mean, why not?

Set up some virtual ugly sweater parties or gingerbread house making contests, anything, and celebrate Christmas this year bigger and better than you have before.

Make this year’s Christmas memorable, and even though we are celebrating Christmas a little different this year doesn’t mean it’s going to change its magic. Enjoy and take in this Christmas season and count your blessings.

It’s Christmas time honey and we are going to celebrate the heck out of it. Merry Christmas y’all.
