After two full-length albums, winning the hearts of fans all over the world, and a thrilling performance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, TWICE have finally released their lively project Taste of Love, just in time for summer! It’s the tenth mini album the group has released in their six years of being a band, and takes a tropical, Latin-inspired turn from their most recent record, their sophomore album Eyes Wide Open

You can practically hear the smiles on members Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Mina, Momo, Nayeon, Sana, and Tzuyu’s faces as you listen to the songs, which will undoubtedly wind up on most k-pop fans’ summer playlists. It’s evident from the opening track “Alcohol-Free,” which was also the first taste of the project fans got earlier this week.

“‘Alcohol-Free’ is a song that our producer, J.Y. Park, made for us, and it’s the first time we’re mentioning alcohol, saying we can be drunk in love without necessarily drinking,” Chaeyoung told Rolling Stone. “Although it’s a summer song like [July 2018’s] ‘Dance the Night Away,’ I think we’ve matured a lot since then, so I’m curious how the fans will react.”

Other highlights on the album include the rhythmic “First Time” and the exhilarating “Baby Blue Love,” which Jeongyeon calls her favorite. The physical copy of the album includes an English rendition of their December 2020 track “CRY FOR ME.”

You can find Taste of Love on your favorite streaming services now, and connect with TWICE on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and their official website!
