Is there anything quite like the rush of discovering a new song or artist you can’t get enough of? We think not, and that’s exactly why we at TREMG love spotlighting rising and underappreciated talent to give creators at every level the recognition they deserve. So many artists spent March offering fans new treats, releasing some of the best work of their career, and opening up in their lyrics like never before. Throughout March, we got to talk to incredible artists like McKenna Grace, Liily, Shuko, and Sam Kogon about their latest projects, but there’s a whole world of talent making their own waves. Here are some of our favorite new releases from this month!

93FEETOFSMOKE – “conversations”

The conversations we have with ourselves are often the most important, but can also be the most difficult. That voice in the back of your mind just knows exactly where to hit you, and that’s what 93FEETOFSMOKE channels on the cathartic “conversations,” an alt-rock anthem that will make you feel so much more understood in what you might be going through. 93 lets out some of his biggest insecurities and darkest thoughts, culminating in a passionate outro with raw screams and urgent guitars that capture the frustration in the lyrics so well. It showcases the vulnerability and fearlessness that makes 93FEETOFSMOKE’s work resonate so deeply with his fans, while also feeling like an exciting step forward that will draw in countless new listeners. If you’re becoming one of those listeners, get to know 93 on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and his website

BIBI – “BIBI Vengeance (Remix)” with Baby Tate & Princesa Alba

The confident “BIBI Vengeance” has been a staple on our playlists since its original release in November, but we might just be even more in love with the new remix, featuring Baby Tate and Princesa Alba! With verses in Korean, Spanish, and English, the “BIBI Vengeance” remix is an international anthem for knowing your worth and refusing to accept anything less than you deserve. It’s a powerful statement from three of the most talented women in music that’s bound to get you feeling like a “bad bitch” and dancing around your room. Carina Marie – “Where You’ve Been”

From the moment the introductory guitar strums kick in, you can tell you’re in for a treat with Carina Marie’s latest single, the energetic “Where You’ve Been!” The song calls out a cheater in the way anyone who’s gone through that wishes they could’ve done, and Carina gives off such femme fatale vibes as she notes that they’ve been “out and about and to every bar in Manhattan, and then coming home to [her]” with a biting knowingness and confidence. If this song played in every bar in Manhattan, we wouldn’t be complaining in the slightest. The fiery energy reels you right in and doesn’t let you go until those haunting final harmonies! DaVinciBands – “Young Bands”

2023 is set to become the year of DaVinciBands, and “Young Bands” is the ultimate proof of why. Not only is the song a thrilling celebration of his potential, but also a celebration of believing in yourself no matter what obstacles might stand in the way. “Young Bands” sees DaVinciBands stepping into a new chapter of his career with a refreshed mindset, putting an end to a depression-driven hiatus with a positive attitude and a renewed passion for the art he creates. The results are equally as impressive as they are inspiring, proving that if you can push through difficult times and headspaces, you can unlock your truest potential and use it to help others. I dropped one single last year following my EP because I allowed my depression and mental health to get the best of me, and I promised myself that once I start again, I’m not stopping anymore.

Elko – “putthatonurgrave”

Canadian alternative riser Elko just dropped their most evocative album to date with dygytaldysmorphya, an 11-track collection of songs that touch on everything from family acceptance (and a lack thereof) to the thrill of love (and what happens when it stops faster than a car at a red light). With a project that vulnerable, you need an opener that sets the scene for a raw journey of self-loss and self-discovery, so the hyperpop-infused “putthatonurgrave” is a natural choice. The song draws from Elko’s experiences with finding himself and what that meant for his relationship with family members, while the mood goes from despair to frustration with a switch towards the end. Right from the start of the album, you’re immediately thrown into the ups and downs of what Elko is dealing with, and you root for him as he not only finds himself again, but finds the confidence to face those ups and downs head-on. Follow along with Elko’s journey on Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter!

I wanted my family to accept me as I am but knew very well they weren’t changing and neither was I, which left me at accepting that I might have to deal with our differences until the day we die and that ripped me apart. The feeling of being torn apart but so connected all at once.

girlfriends – “Over My Dead Body”

Travis Mills and Nick Gross say goodbye to toxicity and negativity on “Over My Dead Body,” a pop-punk anthem all about letting go of someone who didn’t treat you well. Singing along to these lyrics is so cathartic, feeling like a true release of bad energy that will motivate you to stay away from unhealthy situations. Sometimes the only place you’ll reunite with someone from your past is “somewhere over [your] dead body,” and it’s okay if you’re not quite ready to forgive or forget, as long as you keep moving forward. It just so happens that the best way to move forward is with girlfriends playing in your headphones. Get to know this creative duo on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and their website, and if you’re in Europe, be sure to catch them opening up for Avril Lavigne this spring!

The Glitcherz x Konik – “Million Years” feat. JAEWON

The Glitcherz, Konik, and JAEWON have joined forces for a melodic bass anthem to remember with the soaring “Million Years,” a celebration of the kind of love that makes you feel brave and refreshed. Grounded by a pulsating synth, “Million Years” grows in intensity and excitement as you keep listening, drawing you in over and over again as the song progresses. We could totally see this as a contender for the song of the summer, soundtracking sunny memories and nights spent with friends just having a good time! Combining the talents of these three musical titans is a recipe for success, and the proof is in “Million Years.” If you, like us, wanna spend the next million years listening to The Glitcherz, get to know the producer on Instagram and Twitter!

It took us nearly an year to finish this song. I hold this song very close to my heart. The real thing might disappear, but the memories we make will always stay in our heart. So let’s just take risks and create memories while we make it last forever. Hope you enjoy this one! And last a ‘Million Years’ Together!

HUH YUNJIN – “Love You Twice”

Once again, Yunjin of LE SSERAFIM has absolutely blown us away with a self-produced solo track! “Love You Twice” is a sweet tribute to the group’s fans, FEARNOTs, to thank them for their support, while also touching on insecurities and how Yunjin wants to be someone worthy of the love that fans have given her. Our favorite thing about Yunjin’s music is how unapologetically vulnerable she is with every single listener – even as the world is watching, and even as millions of fans worldwide are listening, it truly feels like she’s speaking directly to you and trusting her with her deepest thoughts and fears. Keep up with YUNJIN and the rest of LE SSERAFIM on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter!

Much like the people who seem to be living great lives on social media, I once thought that I wanted to show only the good parts of myself to my fans when I debuted. I always felt that I was lacking even when I was trying my best, but my fans still loved me as I was. I’m thankful to my fans who made me feel that I deserve to be loved. I hope that this message and my gratitude come across in the song.

JUNNY – “Optimist” feat. Blase

Korean standouts JUNNY and Blase are ready to take on the world with the inspirational “Optimist,” the ultimate uplifting anthem you need on your playlists this spring! The two superstars trade verses about their focus on the future and their potential rather than disappointment or negativity, and it’s impossible not to be moved by that bright energy. When it comes to your goals, you need to be an optimist and know that you can get there, no matter how hard it may seem! This song sounds the way sunshine feels, blending pop, R&B, and even drill into an irresistible bop you won’t be able to get out of your head. Get even more inspiration from JUNNY by following him on Instagram and Twitter!

laye – “blue”

In a world full of so much heartbreak and pain, almost no one goes unscathed, and that past hurt can unfortunately follow us around. That’s what laye explores on the introspective “blue,” a mesmerizing track about recognizing your flaws and trying to get to the root of them before they affect someone else. A dreamy mix of pop and alternative, “blue” feels like that moment in a coming-of-age film where the main character reflects on their life and feels energized to make changes, trying to make amends not only for those around them, but for themself as well. It’s equally alienating and comforting, prompting reflection while also reminding the listener that they’re not the only one who’s made mistakes in a relationship, and they don’t have to carry their guilt around forever as long as they grow from the situation. For more growth and great music, link up with laye on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter!

‘blue’ is for the lovers that are trying to unlearn past toxic tendencies.  I think it’s special in that it’s a remorseful breakup song, but from the point of view of someone that felt like they weren’t the best version of themselves for the person that maybe deserved that the most.

Skuff Micksun – “BANK BROKE”

Money can’t buy happiness, and a lack of money can’t necessarily take away your happiness, either! Skuff Micksun pushes through hard times with a smile and encourages others to do the same on “BANK BROKE,” an alt-pop anthem that’s bound to boost your mood no matter what your bank account is screaming at you. With a Post Malone-esque vibrato and punchy lyrics like “tell me what’s a house worth if you don’t feel at home,” this track feels so refreshing at every turn and the positive energy is infectious. Your playlist may not be broke, but you can fix it by adding Skuff Micksun! Learn more about this dynamic artist on Instagram, TikTok, and his official site.

I had recently quit my job and checked my bank account which triggered the first lyric and title of the song, ‘BANK BROKE.’ It felt so good to get that raw emotion of being down and out into a song that feels hopeful and upbeat. ‘BANK BROKE’ is a voice in your head that just won’t let you quit no matter how hard things get. We’ve all been in what seems to be impossible positions and I think many people will relate to that feeling. Simply, an anthem for the people who are really trying to crawl their way out of a hole.

TWICE – “Set Me Free”

The ladies of TWICE are back and bolder than ever with “Set Me Free” and their brand-new mini-album, Ready to Be! With over 1.7 million pre-orders, expectations were high for this project, but that’s no sweat for a group as powerful as TWICE. The album’s title track, “Set Me Free,” is all about the kind of love that makes you feel more confident and inspires you to take steps towards your dreams, and you could even interpret that as being about the love ONCEs (TWICE’s fanbase) have for the group. We know we and ONCEs love the girls more than ever with this comeback! If you’re ready to be a ONCE, get to know TWICE on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter

This album, Ready to Be, shows our strong will to show everyone that TWICE is ready to become our true self and [to break] prejudice and other people’s views.

War Honey – “I Don’t Blame The Rats”

To put it best, pressing play on War Honey’s “I Don’t Blame The Rats” feels like stepping into a parallel world of intrigue and mystery. It’s a thrilling combination of eerie shoegaze, cathartic indie, and even effortlessly cool jazz, building into a soaring chorus that perfectly captures the angst of the self-blaming game we can all get caught up in when it comes to our mental well-being. Gaby’s voice is so striking as it rings through sludgy guitars and distortion, coming through as a beacon of hope for any listeners who feel lost or isolated in what they might be going through. You’re never alone in your experiences, and the moment you start feeling that way, War Honey’s music will be right there to empower you to pick yourself back up. Check the band out on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and their website

Lyrically, it’s a song about blaming yourself for own your mental health problems. On a musical level, we were trying to capture the feeling of being in the throes of depression. I’m hoping listeners can relate to the song and find some solace in it in regards to their own struggles.

Yarin Glam – “Side Effects”

Finding a song that seemingly describes exactly what you’re going through can be one of the most powerful experiences in the world, and Yarin Glam is stepping forward to do just that for people who live with anxiety on “Side Effects.” Fluttering between dreamy synths and chopped-up vocal effects, the song takes the listener on a journey of what it’s like to deal with the ups and downs of mental health, in a fluid way comparable to the tumultuous feeling of a panic attack. It’s raw, riveting, and downright validating, allowing Yarin to use her art as a vessel for both her own emotions and those of others. She’s a rising pop superstar for the next generation, drawing from her struggles to give listeners an auditory hug and a “you’ve got this” to face their own struggles. Stay up to date on her next masterpiece on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter!

Going through any mental health struggles can feel very isolating. I wanted to raise awareness to the subject, and I wanted anyone who goes through what I go through to feel not alone.
