Indeed. Since the 2016 Presidential election lost of Hillary Clinton, social media has changed politically. Facebook has said that they have evidence that supports the Russians worked to hurt our political system and created distrust in our voting accuracy. This led to the Stop The Steal January 6th Insurrection in 2021. It is clear that ideologies online turn into momentum for movements offline.
