DAY 28

Day 28….

#BLACKHISTORYMONTH

As per the #TyreNichols case and the blowback Joey got after saying “if you dont vote for me ya aint BLACK” as well as the abolitionist papers and first hand accounts like Harriet Tubman, Im leaving this month in our current plight. We’re all enslaved to the 🇺🇸 as social security numbers and eins. Reimagining a BETTER future for us ALL requires dismantlement of an old system, fully. And the only way you can do that legally and CREDIBLY is by #voting ya see the numbers have never lied unless those reporting the numbers are liars – yes you @foxnews 📺 Before you can choose credible leadership, you need to be informed. Information is under attack. Education, the study of information is under attack. Thinking is under attack therefore HUMANITY is under attack. The only tool left is to #staywoke

DAY 27

#BLACKHISTORYMONTH a reminder to the white kinsmen we will be Black until thy kingdom come 🙏🏾✊🏾

A lot of us stem from #immigration more than slavery based on the #Census so by 2050 – White Europeans aka the colonizers will no longer be in the majority. Everyone checks another box. The others will have and hold more political power. This is why in 2023, we find so many Nazis, those banning abortions, those removing liberties to all as the “ALL” expands to transgendered communities, and those banning access to knowledge aka #wokeness 🤓📚 The last time America looked like this was in the eve of the civil war. If 2020 was the Black American response to a broken system, and 2021 was the white man’s response to a broken system, then in 2022, those in power worked to defend both sides. The confederacy and the union may be in the past but Black Lives Mattering is very much for the future. #WeGotThis#UnitedWeStand#ThisIsAmerica#ADifferentWorld#ArethaFranklin#BillCosby

DAY 23

#BLACKHISTORYMONTH

Saddest days are when any of us are lynched. #Buffalo#Charleston and every other incident that my people had to endure. Because our skin is #Black ✊🏾 In 🇹🇹 there’s a story told during carnival called #Canboulay its an origins story nonetheless. Its about the slaves reenactment of mockery of their white skinned masters. They banned drums and any percussion instruments which is how the #steelpan came about. Most West Indian cultures like America, leads back to white people enslaving Black ones. They can erase history books but the messages could never be removed. It’s the culture of being Black. It’s the culture of survivorship. AND ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE 🇺🇸🥳🗣️😝

DAY 17

#BlackHistoryMonth

The mark of the beast is found in revelations.

“And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19‬:‭20‬ ‭

#Beware of those who honor the beast in a higher consciousness level than their own kind.

Rest in power to #GEORGEFLOYD 🇺🇸 #Minnesota

Do you know the value of #hushpuppies ? Runaways cooked them and traveled with them on the #undergroundrailroad because it would keep the dogs the slave patrols and catchers sent after them at bay. Stupid mutts 🐕🐶🦴

He’s basically saying in a political forum dogs are more important than Black Americans being arrested for weed. 😂🤓🇺🇸 You really have to learn to connect the spiritual world to the physical.

DAY 16

Oh yall got jokes today I see @theshaderoom#BlackJesus is my meditation background. “I aint prayin to no blonde haired blue eyed demon.” – every Trini in my life 💁🏽‍♀️🇹🇹🇺🇸

#TeeSlaves

DAY 15

The assassination of the freed Black. #BlackHistoryMonth

Today, Feb 15 2023, the 19 year old white boy who killed those Black shoppers at the grocery store has been convicted and sentence to LWOP (life without the possibility of patrol). More federal charges for hate crimes brings his sentencing level to the death penalty where he can be murdered by the state.

“I did a terrible thing that day. I shot and killed people because they were Black. Looking back now, I can’t believe I actually did it. I believed what I read online and acted out of hate. I know I can’t take it back, but I wish I could, and I don’t want anyone to be inspired by me and what I did.” – Peyton Gendron, a homegrown American terrorists.

If slavery already exposes the history of white evilness, what else are we waiting for to change? Not all white people are bad, but how can we as Black people tell the difference? Is it the same way they cant tell which one of us are criminals who fit their descriptions? Asking a Black American to trust a white American is not the issue. Normalizing a race based conversation is the solution. Because we cannot erase Harriet Tubman or Peyton, Dylan, and Kyle. We’re learning how foolish we all sound when hatred is in the speech. Makes sense they’re attacking learning. 🤓😏😝

DAY 14

#BlackHistoryMonth

Tupac was so much more than just an artist. His caliber of music created an emotion that would fill hoods all across America. His poetic flow and lyrical rawness served as soul food to a Black America’s consciousness. His perspective was self-empowerment. His influence over the Hip Hop genre is measurable. His friendship to rapper Biggie Smalls would spark a white-owned media coordinated attack to create violence among Hip Hop fans in New York City and Los Angeles. It would historically be known as the East Coast / West Coast beef. It led to more policing of Black neighborhoods as the culture itself would be deemed aggressive and violent. It was the same thing that happened to funk music in the 1970s. @eminem penned an essay in which he said “If it was a sad song, it’d make you cry. But there were a lot of different sides to him: fed-up, angry, militant, having a good time. His spirit spoke to me because it was like you knew everything that he was going through, especially when he made Me Against the World. You just felt every aspect of his pain, every emotion: when he was happy, when he was sad. His ability to touch people’s lives like that was incredible.”

His music is activism. Thank you #2Pac ✍🏾

DAY 11

Keep your 3rd eye open. Everything is not what it seems. Pay attention to yourself. Never forget why you started. Humility is essential to growth. The world is always going to respond to the energy it transmits. Karma is real. Stay fluid. Life is art. Art is life. Education is what matters. And that is less about the Black race and more about the Human race. Race is a construct. Construction paper comes in every color. Love is colorful. I do it all for LOVE. 🫶🏽🚀#BlackHistoryMonth

Hip Hop culture is access to the creative minds of survivorship. All melanin gets charged in the #sunlight ✊🏾

DAY 9

Lol y’all really gotta think inside the box these days… when it comes to the CURRENT collective PUBLIC safety of PREV ENSLAVED POPULATIONS we have the data to show danger 👮🏽‍♀️

The very basic rebuttal to “How come black neighborhoods have crimes or BLACK ON BLACK criminology rates” has always been, “okay but its the system attacking our communities and the government is not Black.”

#ThinkAboutIt How do we have the tools to kill people when we don’t MAKE OR OWN the weapons. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 Someone ordered the drugs and guns and they were delivered like a Prime package to communities with brown faces. The establishment was built and held up by the oppressors of the previous enslaved. It’s not in the interest of the powerful to respond to the #powerless 🇺🇸😶‍🌫️

DAY 8

#acapella is defined as singing without arrangements..

Happy #BlackHistoryMonth and our #Music creations are #American

Today I honored the lyrics of #IkenTina because like Chris n Rih – they gon live on thru they #music ! Domestic violence aside these two are what Jay and Bey represent in 2023. #BlackMusic 📡🥶🇺🇸

#musichistory Songwriter, producer, and stage performer Michael Jackson released #OFFTHEWALL on Aug 10th 1979. He released the project under EPIC RECORDS a subsidiary of COLUMBIA/CBS RECORDS. He remained on that label until his death in 2009. MJ worked with Quincy Jones who casted him the previous year in the production of a Black adaptation of the #wonderfulwizardofoz titled #THEWIZ Jones and Jackson enlisted the help of Stevie Wonder and Beatles legend Paul McCartney as well as Tom Bahler who penned She’s Out of My Life. It wouldn’t be the last time Quincy and Mike collaborated. Three years later in 1982, #Thriller was released. By 1983 the album had sold over 32 MILLION times becoming the Greatest Selling Album ever. At 24 years old Michael Jackson catapulted throughout the globe becoming the brightest shining African American #star to ever live. He remained there until his death. Thank you Michael 🎤🗣️

Day 6

#BlackHistoryMonth

Why is #research on #AmericanHistory so vital?

Answer: because #knowledge is #power ✌🏾🇺🇸🗣️

With no education, you have neocolonialism instead of colonialism, like you’ve got in Africa now and like you’ve got in Haiti. So what we’re talking about is there has to be an educational program. That’s very important.

-Fred Hampton

“Its really weird to me how these people are still asking about the Black cops who killed Tyre N. as if Judas and the Black Messiah wasn’t nominated for Best Picture at the 93rd Academy Awards in 2021. We just showed the world how the FBI worked to push a Black person against the Black community. It’s as if no one can connect the very obvious dots we’re praising on film when its happening in the hood daily. Are we blind to racism? Have we fought so long that we’re tired? Or is that the distraction of work makes us feel liberated against slavery? We not free til this shit stops making headlines. My personal focus is closing #RikersIsland . Every soldier in our movement is blessed and whatever we accomplish will be for the future empowerment of Black skin.” – @iletthegoodtimesroll as a BLM activist in 2023.

#BlackAmerica has a reason to have an attitude. What’s the rest of yalls excuse? 🤣🤑

I put in my 2 weeks 2 weeks ago but they keep throwing money at me. My ancestors claimed to have partnered with “white funders” during the abolition to create wealth so…well…yeah…samsies. 😝🥱

Day 2

#BlackHistoryMonth

Growing up as a movie goer I always always always noticed in white boy films like #TheHangover which made me want to create films with my friends lol always always always used our music to urbanize their scenes through song. Usher’s #YEAH is the transition scene from when the wolf pack takes shots to kickoff the night, to the next scene when there’s a tiger in the bathroom and they cannot locate the whereabouts of their friend Doug. Though the film lags Black voices in speaking roles (Mike Tyson, Cleo King, & Mike Epps provide inclusionary relief) the movie sold out in the #hood through its concept of friendship, humor, and the relatable understanding of white boys fucking up big time brought Black audiences into the theater. Shit doesn’t become a phenomenon until we buy it.

Day 1

#BlackHistoryMonth

Why is our skin always on display as race?

Ive never just been a girl or a young woman. Its always a Black student, the Black one, the Black step team, the brown girls who dance ballet, the Black after school teacher, the Black business owner, the Black/urbanized voice on the website, the Black graduate from a white school, the token Black, the one getting pulled over for driving in a neighborhood on long island, the one whose smarter than everyone on the hiring team but still doesn’t get hired.

The system tried to tell us about our skin. We live in it. We die in it. We will fight for its equity. And anyone who challenges our power never understood it to begin with.
