The hashtag #MagaMorons has been trending all day. Today is a federal holiday set aside to honor former Presidents. Not a good look for the former twice impeached disgraced POTUS who created an insurrection when he failed to honor the democratic principle of the peaceful transfer of power. He is working to become the GOP frontline candidate to continue is demolition of the American Democracy. His followers feel more and more enraged as his civil and criminal realities come into light.

New York City resident and BLM advocate Tahyira Savanna joins in the X conversations as users wondered if NYC should be on alert

This boycott was allegedly in response to the former POTUS lost of a civil trial in New York City. A New York State Supreme Court judge on Friday ordered the Republican candidate for president to pay $354.9 million and barred him from conducting business in New York for three years.

X, formerly Twitter, users continued to highlight the Maga voters who were likely to support the boycott.

Is it fair to keep blaming a wannabe dictator who thrives on narcissism for the support he receives?

This article from The Hill back in November discusses what the Maga movement means for the future of Americans. Although these are legitimate issues to consider, the reasons may mask a deeper and more frightening explanation: the bigoted beliefs, attitudes and behaviors of Donald Trump do not represent an isolated case or an “outlier,” but may reflect the unconscious values of a large segment of the population. The Hill continued, The concept of white supremacy, while no longer considered an acceptable topic of polite conversation, could partly explain the support Trump receives in opinion polls and at the ballot box. It is entirely possible that the tentacles of deeply buried and unconscious beliefs that white people and their way of life are being threatened are slowly creeping back into public view.

Even when Trump is literally boo’d off of a stage, his cult like religious following finds a way to uplift him.

The Trump supporters fall within the lowest levels of K-12 education. The demographic for the towns that are known Trump towns were the same towns known for the KKK. They were the sundown towns where Black residents could not be safe in the streets after the sunlight drifted. It’s places down in the south where the most wicked of treatment happened to slaves. It’s the small historic rural towns that killed Natives for their land and continue to deny their existence. Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party in Germany had millions of followers. Jesus Christ only had 12. Let’s think about that.
