Is there anything quite like the rush of discovering a new song or artist you can’t get enough of? We think not, and that’s exactly why we at TREMG love spotlighting rising and underappreciated talent to give creators at every level the recognition they deserve. So many artists spent June offering fans new treats, releasing some of the best work of their career, and opening up in their lyrics like never before. Throughout June, we got to talk to incredible artists like Taylor Sanders about their latest projects, but there’s a whole world of talent making their own waves. Here are some of our favorite new releases from this month!
Anna Duboc – “On Your Mind”
There are few things more painful in love than realizing the person you’d do anything to be with isn’t interested in reciprocating your feelings or energy, and at just 17, Anna Duboc perfectly captures that frustration in “On Your Mind.” The song reflects on Anna’s wishes for a connection with someone who is ultimately “just a guy” with questionable intentions, complete with a bittersweet instrumental and emotive vocals reminiscent of a younger Sabrina Carpenter. From start to finish, you’ll be swept right into the story and want to jump in to give Anna a big hug and a pep talk! Bandits On The Run – “You Are Not A Ghost”
Every Bandits On The Run release we’ve heard so far is full of heart and whimsy, but perhaps none so much as “You Are Not A Ghost,” led by member Regina Strayhorn as an ode to her late great grandfather and as a reminder of the possibilities that lie before us in this world. No matter what challenges we face in day-to-day life, we can choose to “be big enough to feel,” to embrace our humanity, and to create art with it. In the case of “You Are Not A Ghost,” that art is just as haunting and beautiful as it is revitalizing. Keep up with Bandits On The Run on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and their website!
‘You Are Not A Ghost’ is a conversation between me and my ancestors – particularly with Isaac Strayhorn, my great grandfather; an outspoken Black man, who was lynched in rural Eastern North Carolina in the 1940s. He was known as the town poet. I like to think that Isaac occasionally whispers lines he didn’t get to write in his own time into my ear… It’s an attempt to hear family members calling to us from the past, and it’s a love letter to our future selves. Unlike the people before you – you are not a ghost. (Not yet.) And while you’re here, there is always an opportunity to start again at the basics, with blood and poetry. Sometimes we all need that reminder.

cignature – “풍덩 (Poongdung)”
The competition is heating up for the title of K-Pop Song Of The Summer, but we think cignature could easily take it with their latest title track, “풍덩 (Poongdung),” part of their Sweetie but Saltie EP! The song’s upbeat, bubbly sound is as refreshing as a ice-cold glass of lemonade on a hot day, while cignature’s stunning vocals help them tell a story of exhilarating summer love. Add in an equally fun music video full of color and you’ve already got an iconic musical era that will sweep fans worldwide off their feet. We can’t wait to see what cignature make a splash with next! Connect with the group on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.
Our new title track, ‘풍덩 (Poongdung),’ represents summer’s young yet maturing love. I instantly liked the melody when I heard it, so I was counting down the days we could share with everyone. Thank you to all the fans who have waited for our comeback for about nine months, and we cannot wait to show a good performance… Our new title track sings the story of a more mature girl falling deeply in love as if she’s diving into love with a splash or ‘poongdung.’ We hope to showcase a mature, improved version of cignature with this song, so please keep your eyes on our activities!

‘Era,’ featured on my album Many Moons Many Suns, is a pivotal track that echoes the theme of personal evolution following a breakup. This song, a collaboration with the talented Tkay Maidza, delves into rediscovering and reclaiming one’s sense of self. It captures the essence of transformation—how it looks, feels, and ultimately uplifts. It’s a bop!

YUNGBLUD – “breakdown.”
Dominic Harrison is an emotive visionary for the modern era, consistently using his music as YUNGBLUD to let others know that they’re not alone in any of their pain or insecurities. Even with such an extensive, comforting catalogue, he’s still finding new ways to uplift his fans worldwide, and the moving alt anthem “breakdown.” is the latest instance of him doing so. With this new single, he ushers listeners into the light of hope and courage, reminding us all of how important it is to stay in the moment and find gratitude for the good things we have in life. And to make it even better? Dom is working with the United States’ Sound Mind Live and the UK’s Mind to donate $1 for every use of the “Breakdown” template on Capcut, up to $25,000. Get to know YUNGBLUD on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and his website!
In the past my art has been about highlighting the pain and letting the world know that it is there, in order to relate to others but now I want to beat it. This song is a gateway to where my new music is heading. Embracing the light, realising what’s beautiful in the world and fighting the darkness – not wallowing in it. It’s about getting out of your head and noticing the world around you, the things and people. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullsh*t inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time and life potential.
