Father by day, dynamic musician by night, and one of Cleveland’s most beloved stars all the time. mgk can truly do it all, and his 2024 MGK Day charity event is the ultimate proof! Cleveland mayor Justin Bibb first designated August 13th as MGK Day in 2022, after Colson became the first Cleveland native to sell out Browns Stadium on his mainstream sellout Tour. Since then, MGK Day has become a celebration of Cleveland’s culture and an exemplification of the power of unity.
This year’s MGK Day festivities included everything from movie nights to trivia games, as well as the League Park Invitational Charity Softball Game and a block party complete with performances from mgk and special guests. The free block party highlighted various local businesses and collected donations for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, showing mgk’s dedication to giving back to his community and using his star power to make a difference.
MGK Day is a testament to the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together for a great cause. It’s inspiring to see how this event not only celebrates Cleveland’s own mgk, but also channels that energy into meaningful charity work that uplifts our city.

Fans traveled from all around the world to get involved in the festivities, and they got to participate in five full days of fun leading up to the big day on August 13th, when mgk threw the first pitch at the Cleveland Guardians game. Always one to show gratitude to his supporters, he wound up signing the ball and throwing it into the crowd!
