Landman season 2 debuts

Here are the most anticipated new and returning scripted TV series on their way next year, and stay tuned as titles are added throughout 2026 when dates are announced.

‘The Pitt’ Season 2, HBO Max – January 8

Easily one of the best shows of 2025, ‘The Pitt’ is returning with much fanfare for its second season, and with Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center focused on the 4th of July weekend, viewers can expect a lot of fireworks in the corridors, the operating rooms, and of course, in the waiting rooms. What we already know is that Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) announces he is headed for a sabbatical, but with a show as twisty and dramatic as this one, expect a few detours along the way. Back in the fold this season is Dr. Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) and newcomer Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi). This is a show that can do no wrong as far as we are concerned.

‘A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms’ – HBO Max, January 18

HBO keeps us waiting so long between seasons for The House of the Dragon that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms initially was deemed to be filler until the meat returned. Instead, early trailers have generated sincere interest in this spinoff, with Peter Claffey playing Ser Duncan, a former squire, now knight attempting to join a famous jousting tournament to prove his mettle and his worth after achieving knight status. Will this show live up to the hype? All signs so far point to yes.

‘Wonder Man’ – Disney+, January 27

Marvel is back at it again on the small screen, with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II starring as the titular superhero in the newest Disney+ series, which has been advertised as an ode to classic filmmaking, acting and the Hollywood rat race itself. Abdul-Mateen plays Simon Williams, an actor navigating the film industry in a world of superheroes, with little else known about a plot that is being kept secret for now. Arian Moayed returns in his role as Agent Cleary from Spiderman: No Way Home, with Ben Kingsley back as Trevor Slattery.

‘Bridgerton’ Season 4, Netflix – January 29

Shondaland returns to the ton when Netflix’s Bridgerton Season 4 picks up with a new couple doing the dance of all dances. Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha) will be the main attraction this season and viewers will see what transpires after they meet at the Masquerade Ball. Like the season before it, this one will also be split up into two parts, with the first four episodes dropping on January 29th, and the remaining four on February 20th.

‘Paradise’ Season 2 – Hulu, February 23

Hulu has a hit on its hands with Paradise, and season 2 of the political thriller will take Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) above ground as he searches for his wife Teri. Now three years after a devastating apocalyptic event nearly brought civilization to complete ruin, Xavier now knows they survived and now he is questioning everything he learned as the sophomore season adds a layer of intrigue to the show. Shailine Woodley joins the cast in season 2 as Shayen.

‘Scarpetta’ – Prime Video, March 11

Nicole Kidman might be the hardest working woman in Hollywood, and she’s back on television in Prime Video’s Scarpetta from the hit Patricia Cornwell crime thriller novels. Kidman stars as Kay, with Jamie Lee Curtis playing her sister Dorothy. A second season has already been ordered and rounding out the cast include Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, Emmy winner Bobby Cannavale, Emmy nominee Simon Baker, Rosy McEwen and Jake Cannavale.

‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Season 2, Apple TV – April 3

The first season was over the top, and for the upcoming second season, Jon Hamm’s Coop is back with more deviant schemes. After being cleared of murdering his lover’s ex-husband and stealing from his millionaire neighbors, he doubles down on his illegal enterprise as he makes a return to the world of corporate finance. This time around, however, his neighbor, played by James Marsden, may be the one that lets everyone know all about Coop’s criminal activity. Co-starring this season are Amanda Peet, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.

‘The Boys’ Season 5, Prime Video – April 8

The last season of The Boys has the gang all regrouping to take on Homelander. After the season finale of spin-off Gen V, Marie and her classmates have united as part of Starlight’s resistance against Homelander.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3, HBO Max – April

It’s been a long time coming, but the third and final season of Euphoria will do a time jump as most of the characters return from previous seasons, including star Zendaya as Rue Bennett, Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow), Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie), Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi), Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney) and Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer). The show will also feature new cast members as viewers get to see what happens to the gang a few years after graduating from high school. According to series creator Sam Levinson, season 3 shines a spotlight on the trials that come along with navigating life.

‘Hacks’ Season 5, HBO Max – TBA

Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) fights for Ava as a writer for her show in the season 4 finale of Hacks, but career prospects seem to be dwindling after breaking from her contract. In what could be the last season of the award-winning show, returning players on the HBO hit include Paul W. Downs, with Christopher Briney from ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ joining the roster in season 5.

‘Lanterns’ – HBO Max, TBD 2026

Will the Green Lanterns finally have some cinematic justice after the OG Ryan Reynolds debacle? Lanterns may be the answer fans have finally been waiting for. Starring Aaron Pierre as John Stewart and Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan, the show centers Stewart and Jordan as they investigate a murder in the American heartland and unpack an even more sinister mystery. Rounding out the cast re Kelly MacDonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Ulrich Thomsen, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Sherman Augustus, J. Alphonse Nicholson, Jason Ritter, Nathan Fillion, Chris Coy, and Paul Ben-Victor.
