L’Oréal Unveils Virtual Makeup Line

While working from home because of COVID-19, it’s easy to want to forgo your typical morning beauty routine in favor of staying comfortable. Now, you can look done-up without lifting a finger – L’Oréal has rolled out a selection of digital makeup looks, which you can apply like a filter in video chat apps like Zoom and Google Hangouts, along with photo sharing apps Instagram and Snapchat.

The Signature Faces collection includes seven eye looks and three shades of lipstick, varying from simple edits like a coral-tinted lip to statements like sparkly gold lashes. The concept is reminiscent of Sephora’s Virtual Artist tool, which allows customers to try on makeup before buying it. Earlier this month, Target and Ulta announced an unprecedented partnership that will place mini Ulta shops inside Target stores, which may integrate Ulta’s similar GLAMlab feature.

You can download the Signature Faces looks on L’Oréal’s website.
