Flamin' Hot Cheetos Ice Cream Exists, And We're Cautiously Optimistic About It

Ice cream, especially in recent years, has come in funky (but tasty) flavors such as Smores and Moose Tracks. These types of flavors are created using other snacks such as chocolate bars, nuts, peanut butter cups, and even cereal. However, the newest confection by Marble Slab Creamery combines ice cream with quite a unique snack choice: Flaming Hot Cheetos.

According to the company, the new Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Ice Cream “is the dream combination for those who like their treats hot and sweet”. It is made by scattering bits of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos onto Marble Slab’s Creamery’s signature sweet ice cream base. It is also served with chocolate dipped waffle to add sweetness to the flavor.

If the flavor becomes successful, the creamery further announces the introduction of a Cheeto’s Flamin’ Hot Milkshake which is made using the same recipe, but blended together with milk. The milkshake with also topped with whipped cream with more bits of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos lying on top.

This confection is being sold for $5.99 per 20 ounces. However, when the company announced their flavor on Instagram, reactions were mixed. “I love Hot Cheetos but this is a ‘no’ from me”, wrote one comment. “Are you in DC? Because I want one!”, wrote another. One comment summarized the reveal with just two words, “Bro, What?!”

As the dog days of summer approach, we are pleased to hear about some relief. Ice cream is a great way to cool down and Marble Slab Creamery says it best. What are your reactions to Cheetos and Ice Cream? Let us know!
