Clo Sur Lets a Relationship Go On Synth-Fueled “One More Time”

Combining airy electronic notes with frustrated, angst-filled lyrics, Clo Sur’s “One More Time” is brimming with duality, contrasting hope with fear, intimacy with the isolation of loving a half-hearted partner, and modern sounds with a timeless experience. It’s the Los Angeles artist’s first release with Enci Records, who he’s set to drop a string of singles with later this year.

“’One More Time’ is about the exhaustion that comes with constantly giving yourself to a one-sided relationship,”Clo Sur confesses. “I think everyone knows what it’s like to feel used and powerless and the song exists in that place of trying to take back control by drawing a hard line.”

Warning: the video below has flashing clips of various intensities throughout – viewer discretion is advised for those with photosensitivity!

Clo Sur worked on the song remotely with producer Solo Ray, who he met online in 2019 while he was trying to find a collaborator he could mesh well with.

“I’d write a song, demo the vocal and main instrument and he’d build the supporting track,” Clo Sur says about the creative process. “We have really similar tastes and he’s good at creating unique sounds. After working through a couple of songs with Solo, I knew I had found the right person to collaborate with moving forward.”

You can find “One More Time” on your favorite streaming services now, and get to know Clo Sur on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and his official website!
