The death of white privilege was never the fight for the Black American. White privilege will die at the hands of those being used by it. Make no mistake, this happened because of the threat of the power of women like Kamala Harris and Stacey Abrams. And it’s the power they have over White America. Fear is what empowered the riot. Trump is solely a catalyst. No surprise nothing stopped them. Because White people in America are afraid that the loss of their popularity will directly correspond with the lack of their morality, which is sad. The ones who suffer the most from a system that oppresses Black Americans, are the ones never told that they are in fact, privileged.
Imagine Billy. Billy loves school. His parents own a mid-size company that was launched by his grandfather. Billy does well in school but eventually realizes that finding a job is not something he needs to worry about. Billy joins the football team. He’s really good. Imagine James. James hates school. His parents live in the projects across the street. They are saving to move out but their rent goes up every time their salary goes up. He’s been playing football with his friends in his neighborhood since he was a young child. James sees football as a way out of this lifestyle for himself and his family. James joins the football team. Now up to this point, we can see the financial difference between Billy and James. We can see the environmental difference as well.
When a white person reads the previous paragraph they assume Billy is white and James is Black. That’s what white privilege does. It gives you a misled mindset about where you place in life. White doesn’t mean right. But when an entire system is built to oppress one group just to ensure that another has the means to survive could never stand up against the U.S.’s changing demographic. More so, White people from America don’t have a culture. The same can be argued for Black America. We have spent years fighting skin color, which can never change.

Trump is a response to Obama. The behaviors of the Central Park Karen’s, the 911 call that should have saved Trayvon, the death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice, and everything else shows not only how law enforcement works, but it also shows how this country works. Black people understand that we can march and protest and join the political forces that matter, but to truly end the war of race, White people need to see White people acting racist, crazy, out of control, shameful, illegal, murderous, and unforgiving. If this is a war, this was only just a battle.
